All, I'm going to have to pull the Simms pump off my 1970 3000. It's leaking fuel out the side of the pump on the backside as near as I can tell. I've never done a Simms before. The CAV pumps are a walk in the park. Only one way they will go back on. The Simms from what I've seen in photos thus far has 3 bolt holes and 3 other holes that I'm assuming the dowel pin on the gear can go in. How do I know which one to put it back together on after the pump shop finishes it up? Sorry to sound like a newbie here but asking before hand to be sure I don't hose anything. Shop manual that I have doesn't give much love to the Simms pump. I appreciate it in advance!
