I?ve got some wobble in my pto and there is an over running
clutch on the tractor which is what I think the problem is. I
punched out the center pin but I can?t get the clutch off?

Sound's like the clutch wore out and is coming apart inside. A metal fragment might be wedged between clutch and tractor pto shaft. Any blows with hammer or pry bar will be transferred to the shaft bearing so don't be overly rough. Try prying and if it won't come off, alternate between knocking it toward tractor and prying. There's a snap ring holding clutch togeather, removing that ring will let clutch come apart and possibly expose the jamb.

I had the same problem on my 8n. pto was okay it was just the over riding clutch. most likely the clutch is bad. mine was. I just used a grinder to get it off. took about 5 minutes.

it's possible the ORC got pushed too far onto the tractor pto and is now wedged. It also could be corrosion.

If the ORC needs to be replaced anyway.. I'd probably cut it off, though you could try a slide hammer a couple times on it to see if it just wants a hair of persuasion. have someone lever out on the orc with a prubar.. setup your slide hammer to tug on the ORC, and just give it a bump or 2. remember.. you risk snap rings and bearing carrier on the tractor... so if mild prying and pulling/slide hammer don't do it, I'd get out the angle grinder and split it about 80% thru, then get a big wide cold chissle and drive it up into the split and spread it off the tractor stub.
