WOW. And I thought I was out of line.......

The wife knows that she deserves a replacement for that old Explorer so he has to be able to tell her that he is trying to sell the 9N.

Well the #364/700 is false. The 1939 9N serial numbers went from 1 to 10,200+ (tractordata says 10233 and John Smith's site said 10275).

"The 1939 9N serial numbers went from 1 to 10,200+"

I think the seller is referring to the ones made with the
aluminum hood/doglegs/dash. There were far less of those.
Still not $50K in my (check) book. :)

Maybe He needs to look at the one I posted under 1940 9N but I think is a 39 because of smooth axles and horizontal grill and It's $1200

The one you posted is a nice tractor Sunbeam and priced right.
I wish it were closer.
The early '39s had the starter button in the dash and that one
was late enough to have it moved to the transmission cover to
work as a neutral safety switch. If that's original, it would be
after serial number 12500 which would make it a 1940.
Smooth hubs continued to serial number 41000 or so. (memory)
All of it interchangeable as far as I know, so after this many years
who knows what it was originally. Still a nice looking machine!
