Introduction

Hello folks, new here. Just started my first tractor restoration. Ford Jubilee. Thought I would introduce myself and throw out my first of what will be MANY questions to come. Wire harness, multiple options and prices. Is there a reccomended brand/ supplier etc.?

Welcome to the forum. IMHO the best and easiest wiring harness is a roll of 12/14 ga. wire, a roll of elect. tape,
crimp connectors and do it yourself. Plenty of wiring diagrams available, just google search.

Welcome to the forum.
Are you doing a true restoration or a refurbish?
If you're doing a full restoration and want original colored and sized,
restoration quality wiring for the 6V system, nnalert
Be prepared for sticker shock.

On a refurb, like [b:a61475cf59]this one[/b:a61475cf59], I rolled my own.

This is a restoration attempt. I probably will leave transmission and hydraulics alone. Will try to rebuild engine, starter, ditributer, etc.. Not going for true restoration grade, like on the wire harness, $200+, I like the idea of making it myself for a third the cost. Or buying a $100 harness that does the job but doesn't have the cloth wrap. This is purely a bucket list/hobby attempt. I'd like it to run well and look like the pics on line from some of you folks.
