Does anyone happen to know the EXACT threat pitch and size of the petcock that goes in to the tank (female) and the two female ports on the fuel pump?
I had a leak at the fuel petcock that goes to the tank and I would like to run the rubber line. I am replacing the hard fuel line with a new threaded male (? not sure the size) to 1/4" barb then running rubber fuel line over to the fuel pump. I have bought a 5/16 male with a barb that is flared but it does not seem to fit. The thread starts but only goes in one turn. I can't for the life of me figure out what size is required for the stock female petcock on the tank.
Below is what I am trying to do but that flared 5/16" is not working. I want to run the male to barbed attachment to the petcock to the rubber fuel line

The fuel tank is 3/8? NPT. 18 threads per inch. Most fuel pumps are 1/4? NPT, also 18 TPI.

The fuel pump info I posted is incorrect. I should have posted it as 1/8? NPT which is 27 TPI.

From the picture you posted, the fuel line is straight thread, and the barb is tapered thread,

You can't screw the barb into the fuel line hole.
