I bought this plow a monthh ago and I'm just checking it out. Does anyone know if there are bearings in the coulter wheel or are they bushed. The front one is sloppy. Do the coulter doglegs have bushings, I dont see any grease fitting on the doglegs.

Not 100% sure, I don't have any literature specifically on the 141. I'm pretty sure the coulters are like the ones on a 151. Roller bearings in the coulter wheel. No grease fittings or bushings on the doglegs. Bushings could probably be made, if there's enough wear to warrant the work.

I looked up some coulters at CNH and it showed just the hubs with shims to go between the hub halves. It also mentioned white metal. Thanks for the input.

Make that white iron hubs, they are supposed to be hard metal. Is it okay to just put a light coat of paint on the coulters?
