NAA FORD TRACTOR

Looks as though my carb may need to be rebuilt. Now I haven't had much luck rebuilding carbs. it looks as though a complete carb kit is around 25/30 bucks. I see on ebay where there are several new ones for around 60 bucks. that seem as though that may be my best way to go. Has anyone ever bought one of these off of ebay and so what kind of luck did you have. thanks norm

I have not bought one Norm, but I've heard some people on
the N forum say they've bought them and they worked out Ok.
At least initially. Long term has yet to be seen of course.

I'm sure you know I rebuild them for folks here on the forum.
Not that cheaply though. I don't use the cheap kits.
They don't include everything you need to do the job right.

When I'm done rebuilding them they are like new.
Including being media blasted to bare metal and repainted.
They are then put on my tractor, tested and adjusted so all
you have to do when you get it back is bolt it on and go.

None of the new carbs I know of are tested and adjusted.
That's still up to you to do once you get it installed.

I've rebuilt quite a few of the aftermarkets too.
I don't think they'll stand up to many rebuilds like the originals.
The rebuild kits don't even fit some of the aftermarkets.

If you do decide to buy new, I'd be interested in buying your original.
My email should be open if you want to discuss it.

Got to disagree w/Royse - When he gets done they are MUCH nicer than when they were new! They look great & are tested & set!
His price is very reasonable & turnaround time is quick!
