Cleared about 6 inches of snow this morning and there's already two inches where I started.

Nice setup! Between the blower and weights, you can push quite a bit, and blow what you can't push- all the while sitting inside out of the wind.
Much better than our old 860 days of sitting on a metal seat with an extra gunny sack waiting for the loader to gravity fall so the trip bucket can latch to push another bucket load as far as we could.

"Nice looking setup Royse...any heat in the cab?"

Thanks, I had a small electric heater in the cab, thinking I may
need the blower to defrost the windows but I took it out.
The heat that the canvas brings back from the engine is plenty.
Within an hour or so of running I've got my hat and gloves off,
all the snow melts off my boots and my boots are dry.
As long as I don't have to get out and turn the chute.
That's another project. I've already plumbed hydraulics out
through the back of the cab to make it hydraulic turn.

You must be in better shape than me, I can only look over my shoulder for short bursts without a lot of pain.

I would want a front mount blower.

I would love to have a front mount blower for one of my tractors.
Someday I'll find one!

It does a pretty good job Larry, the rear tires are new but not
loaded, just the weights. So far I haven't needed chains.
But we haven't gotten much ice the last couple years.

Steve, yep, I remember plowing snow with my N and steel pan.
This has a nice comfy new suspension seat in it. Gettin' old ya know! ;)

I like my way of dealing with the snow better.

Slick setup, Royse. I've got to get out pretty quick on my butt-naked 871 pretty quick, working on 8" here. I used to have one of those canvas heat housers with the little windshield that you crouched behind. Caught on fire a few years back, and scared the bejesus out of me.

That would be great in February, but I'd be dying in August! ;)

Way too hot for me any time of the year! :)

I've got one of those canvas heat housers I use on my Jubilee.
It blocks the wind, except from the back, and draws heat from
the engine so it is certainly better than nothing!
I've never had one catch on fire though.

The Nylon type of "canvas" heat houser that was on my 2N was
actually made for a 3000. It had a roof and a back drape/window.
The back drape was not on it in this picture. It attached with snaps.

We did have about 3 days last month when it was in the teens.
I can take the heat, but not the cold. Found out I have severe neuropathy in both legs so cold is not my friend. Feet and lower legs been cold as the dickens this winter.
