remote hydraulics

for the life of me I cant get remote hose's into this remote. loader is in right hand side but when I try to insert hoses for a disk I cant get them to lock in. fittings are the same as loader fittings that seem to work fine. What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried putting the disk hoses in place of the loader hoses?

Sounds like the disc hoses have pressure on them, disc parked in the raised position or with the wheels off the ground.
Some times if I unhook a piece of equipment on a cool day then reconnect on a warmer day the fluid has expanded in the hoses and I must depressurize them before they'll hook up.
Also shut the engine off and work the remote lever to make sure there's no pressure against the valve.
