Since I've got the loader of my my 640 i decided to remove the front hydraulic pump bracket to clean it up. So I pulled the spline shaft out that engages with the hub on the front of the engine. To my surprise I pulled a badly worn spline drive shaft. It was still working but who knows for how much longer.

I wonder if this is old style drive coupling or can I still get replacement stuff for this??

A ten spline shaft is available here on YT. Assuming the rest of
the specifications match up. I would replace them as a set.

(quoted from post at 20:10:12 02/01/18) The wear marks look like the shaft was out of alignment.

The alignment was ok except the guy whoever he was only engaged the 10 spline shaft about half way into the hub.

When you put it back together use a lot of antisieze (I prefer the copper based stuff, gold color). That kind of wear is called fretting and if you could watch a high speed film you would see
that every time a piston fires that joint jumps a little.
