Haven't seen this one before. Thanks. I was unaware of the "special plate" that allows you to bypass neutral and use the transmission as a shuttle shift. Um, not so sure that sounds like a good idea. Maybe with a foot throttle added. That was the best thing I ever did to my 871, add a foot throttle. Makes for easier shifting under power and gets rid of most of the "jerk-O-matic" complaint.

Thanks again for doing this - these are cool!

That said, notice early on when they show the ratios, and how "even spaced" they are. In reality, 2nd and 3rd gear ratios are nearly identical. First time I ever drove a SOS, when going from 2nd to 3rd gear I thought something was wrong because I couldn't tell the difference in speed. A little marketing dishonesty there I'd say.

Does anyone have the Trac-com training series? It was setup on the same format usuing 35mm film strip and cassette tape. I have box full of placks and couple of awards that were given out for perfect score.
