I've read old posts on this subject. I havent heard anyone mention anything about supporting the weight of the flywheel when unbolting the rear main cap. I think I will take off the weep hole plate and see about that. Does it matter? Any comments welcome?

If you aren't splitting the tractor, the weight of the flywheel will be held by the other main bearings and the transmission input shaft... no need to support it.

(quoted from post at 13:13:02 01/29/18) Just the side seals if those new rubber things dont work good.

Throw those rubber seals and stupid pins away and use Victor Reinze RTV silicon
