As i posted early my 841 was having throttle problems . It would die under load or die if i trotted up to fast. So I went through the distributor and
took it apart cleaned it and all new points rotor condenser, then got a new complete carb fit and went through that again . This time really going
through all the ports with a torch tip cleaner. Compression checked out ok. Fired it up and runs good under 900 rpm even under load. The
problem is between 900rpm and 1400 rpm it lopes and the governor keep moving back and forth . If i bring it up over 1400 it runs good . I think
it the governor . I disconnected the throttle at the carb and started the tractor and move the throttle with my hand it ran great at all engin speeds
no problem . So any one ever have this issue? Thinking of replacing the compensating springs at the governor arm and readjust or should I go
for a new governor? PS Showcrop not for sale yet.
