I have 2 double clutch input shafts for a double clutch. One shaft is longer than the other one. The long one is right at 12" end to end and the pto shaft is 8 7/8" long and has the gear setback from the thrust washer landing. The short one is 11 15/16" with the pto shaft at 7 13/16" long with the thrust washers going right next to the gear. I just don't understand the gear setback. The long one could fit a different model of ford. I got them mixed up. I had the tractor back together temporarily when Irma came through. Heres the pics, I think the short one is the one I took out. It is the one in the bag. I just checked the pto portion on fleabay and the ad says its 7 13/16". Does anyone know what the longer shaft fits?

I think you will find that the long shaft (NDA 771 C) is for the gas engines, 5 speed transmission and the short shaft (311249) is for the diesels engines
