ford 2000 engine into a 3000?

I recently bought a ford 3000 gas engine tractor with a blown motor ( guy run it out of oil) and I have found a motor out of a 2000 (gas) will the 2 interchange easily I know they will bolt up but is everything else ok?

sorry the new motor is out of a 2600 ford tractor not a 2000

Aside from the location of the oil fill, and
the size and electrical value of the temp
sender in the head they are identical 158 ci
engines. The 2600 will also have the better
tach drive located under the oil filter.
Since the 3000 tach probably doesn't work -
they never do - if you buy a new tach for a
26/3600 the the temp sender will work and
you'll have a tach again.
It is an easy swap.
