OT I know but just a quick question. Found this tractor going up for auction with FEL. Not afraid of paying a fair price and tractor looks good. Haven't heard it run. What's the rated hp and what kind of hydraulics would be present? Price suggestions?

I'm not sure what you mean by "What kind of hydraulics would be present?"

Are you asking about the loader hydraulics, or the 3 point lift? Most 4000's that had a loader used a separate pump driven by a shaft off of the crankshaft pulley with the sump for the loader hydraulics in the frame of the loader itself, so the loader hydraulics were completely separate from the 3 point hydraulics. Some folks have gone the cheap route (including me) over the years and added a loader that is driven off of the 3 point hydraulics, but if it is a government auction the chances are good that it was originally purchased with the loader already installed and that it has the separate pump.

Thanks Sean. I was asking if the loader hydrostatic
would be separate from the lift arms and I finally
saw a picture of the tractor. It appears to be a
factory FEL install but can't really tell. Pretty sure it
isn't a select-o-speed either. Still can't tell much
about the hydrostatic but trying to get more info and
pics.

Price varies by region and is usually what the market will bear. Hit the for sale online equipment sites to compare.

Saw that one while looking up Mi auction sites yesterday.
I agree, everything about it points to a 3000, unless it's a 4110 LGC that's had bigger tires added, front steering arms appear to be lower on the tires than my 4000SU which is same front as a 3000.
Only thing 4000 on a 4110 is the engine, everything else is 3000.

Whats the deal with the rear wheels sticking out from the hubs, some type of spacers?

John
