Hello! The hydraulics on my 860 aren't working in the cold weather. Went to plow snow for the first time and got nothing. Good thing it wasn't much snow to begin with!
Fluid is at proper level and appeared perfectly fine. It was newly added a few months back.
First thing I did was opened the plug on the pump and turned it over, got nothing to come out. Then I used compressed air to prime, and closed it finger tight as it was over flowing. The 3pt lifted briefly (20-30 sec) but then fell.
Next I then tried introducing the air with the plug in (while running) as recommended many places and that didn't seem to do anything.
Tried the first method once more, and got nothing but fluid w/ air pouring out & No movement from the 3pt.
They had been working prior to the cold weather, although I had noticed they were a chattering a bit in fall. They also would stay up with a blade on for a few hours, but the next day the blade would be on the ground.
Sounds like a pump rebuild is in order but I have a tendency to skip over simple solutions. Any help on where to go next would be appreciated.
