I don't know about JD 303 specs, I'm a FORD man. That being said, know too that CNH (Case/New Holland) no longer makes the Ford Hydraulic Oil MC-134D. They make and sell a semi-synthetic oil formulated for the newer Boomer models. Not to worry, any SAE 80-90 oil will work. Read labels.

Any SAE 80-90 oil will work for what?

True that CNH no longer makes true M2C134D fluid, but what they do make and sell meets or exceeds the M2C134D specification. I think that is the point that you need something that meets or exceeds the specification for the given application, and all older Ford specs were superseded by the M2C134D specification, so you need a fluid that says on the label that it meets or exceeds that specification whether it comes from New Holland or from a third party.
