134 vs HyTran in a 64 4000 power steering pump?

I have always put NH 134 fluid in my power
steering pump on my 64 4000. It has a slow
leak around a seal and requires fluid
several times a year. I used to always put
NH 134 fluid in it because it was handy. Now
I also have a John Deere and the HyTran was
handier. It seems like my power steering us
stiffer than it used to be. I guess there is
more HyTran in there now than 134. Do you
suppose the HyTran is heavier? Do I need to
go back to 134?

HyTran is IH. John Deere's is HyGard. If You've got HyGard in there it may not meet the specs. You need to check that out and make sure it does.
