961 moving a little snow

First time out with the 961 moving a little snow. More just to check things out and make sure everything working. Worked well, sounded well. Hydraulics are slow to respond on the up even after warmed up. Any adjustments for that? Other then that, it seemed to work good if I could keep from slicing off the top layer of grass.

I welded tabs onto pipe lined up with the cutting edge holes for a friends 8'-0" JD rear blade. Photo shows about the same thing, works quite well as he had the same problem. My 4630's hydraulics are easier to work with using my rear blade, just barely scalps, but once that frost sets in, no problem at all. Its those early and late storms, sometimes I don't even bother depending on conditions. He goes over a lot of grass areas, so it worked really well, simple but effective.

Tractor looks great Tom. Hydraulics didn't look terribly slow in the
video. What fluid are you using in it? I use UTF in mine. It seems
to work faster in colder temps than thicker oil.

Your hydraulics appear to work at the same speed as my 871. I'm using UTF also, run about 1600 - 1800 rpm blading snow.

Maybe just the way I described it. Once it moves, it moves fine. It just takes about 7- 8 secs to actually begin moving up once I raise the lever. Just like a delayed response if you know what I mean. I know my others raised as soon as I moved the lever.
