Lawn Ornament

Just sold my old lawn ornament, a running 1929 McCormick
15-30, drove it onto the guys trailer, been on the lawn about
10 years. I wanted to replace it with an old Fordson but saw
this little Wallis tractor that looked cool. The wife would rather
nothing but was curious what you guys thought. I really just
want something I can plant flowers in not just around it.

Well, it looks like you could fill the radiator with dirt and plant a flower in the fill hole.
You could do the same with the gas tank. A fairly large bucket could be put on the seat. Smaller buckets hung from the rear wheel lugs. Also buckets hung from the steering link. Front wheels are not so easy. Maybe a ground container with vines growing through the spokes. And also, you could pull the head and plant flowers in the cylinders. (Best leave the engine cover off.) The head, itself could be used for a shelf. I note the hand-holes in the crankcase. You
could fill them with dirt and have flowers growing out. Too bad there aren't any head lights. You
could twist them upwards and use them for flower pots.

Every one you put dirt in is one more that can't be saved. Better it was parted at least some good would come of it.
