serial bb25789 i think 87 series II correct?
i have a manual on the way but just wondering about the following.
1. does it have open or closed circuit hyrdaulics? i have read both
2. what would be needed to add a 2nd remote?
3. should my tractor have the injector pump that needs the oil changed? if so anyone have a pic of the filler and drain?
4. it has the engine mounted hydraulic pump, how many gpm is that rated at?
5. what type coolant/additives should i be using? i use rotella elc antifreeze in my other tractos will that be a good choice for the ford as well?

thanks for all the help.

Here's a tiny bit of info on the injector pump.

FUEL INJECTION PUMP - FORD 6610 AND 7610 ? Change the pump oil every 300 hours. 1. Drain the pump by removing the filler plug, ? level plug, and drain plug, Figure 49. 2. Install the drain plug. 3. Fill the pump with clean engine oil until oil ? flows from the level plug hole. 4. Install the filler and level plugs.

1) That tractor has what I'll call a hybrid hydraulic system on it. The remotes are true closed center valves, while the
pumping system is conventional open center, meaning the pumps move oil all of the time. An unload valve dumps oil to sump
when the remotes do not need oil. To further add to the confusion, what you call it will depend on what you plan to do with
the hydraulics, and yes, it is important.

2) Big $$, assuming you could even get what you need from NH. The link below shows that you can equip that tractor with up
to 4 remotes. Best off to look for donor parts off of a wrecking yard machine.

3) I'm not sure of the exact date when Ford changed from inline to rotary pumps, however if all of the injection lines come
straight out the top of the pump, the answer is yes, you do need to change oil in the pump UNLESS there is a small oil line
attached to the pump from the front of the engine block.

4) 8 GPM

5) Rotella coolant should be just fine.
