We are getting our first couple of inches of snow for the season. I got inspired and put out driveway markers and put the plows (front and rear) on the HD Industrisl. I even found mice living in the turn table portion of the back blade, they have been relocated. I am running chains on front instead of rears this year. I?m hoping they work as they were much easier to put on than the rears.Figured I would share a picture.

Do you have trip springs on the front plow? You are definitely all set whether going forward or backward. Have fun and stay warm.

This is just a question. I don't know the answer to it. Perhaps someone else does. Is that Elenco front end and its driveline built heavy enough to do the heavy work? I don't think I'd want the chains up there until I knew the answer to that question. I'd be afraid I'd tear something up making the front end do the heavy pulling.

Drivetrain on the elenco are heavy duty. Should be a problem as
long as he has the correct tire size.

Yea they were calling for a dusting by me. Woke up to almost 6". My elenco sits in the barn behind a dozer that's half apart so I'll have to make do with my 4000 and N tractors.
You look like you have a good set up there, cab and all, so maybe you can keep all the white stuff up by you cause I hate it.

Your front chains will help steering.

Given all of the weight, unless you are planning to move mountains of snow or plow on steep slopes, you should not need rear chains.

Pushing backward with the rear blade and the front plow lifted will be limited

Only about 3" total here and it didn't start to stick on the driveway until sundown yesterday so only about 1.5" to worry about. Plowed it with the JD X500 garden tractor. About 250 feet of driveway length total between mine and my mother-in-law next door. The sun is out now and both driveways are almost completely clear and dry.
