Draft control

Hello I got a ford 900 and I was wondering if anyone else has
had the same problem as me. When I plow in draft control I
have no control over the depth of the plow. The only thing that
stops it from going deeper in the cutler hub, I'm thinking
something in the draft control spring is rusted stuck, is this a
common problem as the spring doesn't compress or move at
all when in draft control

In draft control mode, it should control its own depth.
Lift is likely worn and/or out of adjustment.
Parts are available and not terribly expensive if needed.

the draft control is designed to control the plow at the depth you set by plow adjustment. The depth is set by the top link assuming the shares are in good shape. Other settings are furrow wheel and leveling the three point.

You control the draft with the quadrant drop the plow and once going pull the quadrant up till you locate the amount of draft needed for the job.. Once you are happy set the quadrant to that position each time you drop the plow, at that position you can fine tune it for more are less. Its sensitive once you find that sweet spot.

Move the quadrant about haft way down and start from there I think you will fine you will need to move it up a few inches to find your sweet spot...
