ATF in the PS reservoir of a 3600

Giving the new acquisition a once over and discovered Red ATF fluid in the PS reservoir. I believe it should be 134D. Do I need to purge, flush and refill or what? Also, what I think is the thermostart heater, threads into the intake pipe just before the intake, is a flat disk with two male blade electrical connections. What I see for replacements look more cylindrical with one blade connection. My wiring harness has two female ends dangling that may go to this.

Having difficulty finding the part numbers for the rubber elbow that attaches onto the intake and the straight piece of hose coming off the valve cover.

I'd appreciate any guidance.
 
Forgot to mention the gear shift lever moves up and down about a half inch. I need to replace the shift boots as well. What is the repair for that?
 

Won't hurt to have atf in the power steering pump but I'd top off whenever needed with whatever hyd oil you plan to use in the rest of the tractor.

The flat disc with the two blade connectors is the air cleaner restriction sensor for the light on the dash.

Thermostart is in the side of the manifold under the front battery box support towards the engine, kinda hard to see.

There's 2 different intake elbows depending on if you have a 2" intake pipe or 2 1/4"
2" intake elbow NH# D3NN9B640A
2 1/4" intake elbow NH# D3NN9B640B

Vent hose is a piece of 1" hose about 3" long, can be picked up at most any auto parts store for a few bucks.

What do the gear shifter boots look like? There is no rubber boot used on 6 speed or 8 speed or 6x4 manuel reversing trans. If pushed down there maybe some up/down movevent.
 
Yeah, I was wondering what they look like too. They're mentioned here every once in a while, yet my 7000 and 4600 have never had them...and they've been here since new. My 7600 does, but it's a cab model - the boot is to stop dust/noise.
 
I was used to Ns that have a boot when I got my first twin stick Ford. So I saw these on ebay and bought a pair.
They've been on there for 13? years now.
I've since read that you don't need them but I figured, why take them off now?

So how did you get them on? Warm up the boots and pull over the knob or remove the knob? I see where new ones screw on but I guess I haven't done the contortionist bit to see it mine screw off or are molded on.
