Must be that he swapped the rear axle(s) at some point? The transmissions/hydraulics will not bolt up.

The back half of a 9n/2n/8n with bolt right up to the jub tranny. Gasket will cover trans knoch out. Some of the ones I've seen were done with 8n rears so you would notice it as much. Throw a blank plate over the Jub pump and use the 8n pump. Sure you loose the live hydraulics but you get a running working tractor. Not sure how he has the hydraulic pump hooked in. Possibly use the jub rear and bolted trumpet/axles on. Would have to have a closer inspection. 8n are more compatible with the brake pedals.
