about how much would it be to add a USED bush hog or other brand quick attach loader to a 6610? and how much trouble is it to put one on? cheaper to buy brackets made to fit the tractor or just have a welding shop fab them up?

I would try to find some mounts for the tractor. Mounts for those tractors were on the 5000 up to the 7610. Bush hog may still make them. Elkton Farm Store may have some. Elkton, TN

ok so far the loaders i have found local are going around 3k is that about the going rate or can they be found cheaper if i keep looking.

That's pretty reasonable for a QT loader, assuming it's in good shape.

Make sure you can get brackets for the loader, they've been discontinued for some of the older brands.
We made brackets for my Farm Hand loader, took a little figuring but wasn't to hard.
Brackets for my Allied loader would be near impossible to make.
