After reading a recent post about a neutral safety switch and almost running myself over standing next to my 3400 while cranking with a bypassed safety, I paused to re-hook it back up. Back when I rebuilt it, I tried connecting the wires but it wouldn't crank in neutral..... So I bypassed it again and have put 30 hours on it this way.
Anyhow, I looked at it again and realized it is for the Hi/Lo stick, not the gear selector!
Taadaaaa! I now have a working safety switch on one of my tractors.
