I recently picked up a Ford 2000 3cyl Diesel from a barn find. Even though the decals say it's a 2000 diesel nothing compares to anything I see on the web. And the data numbers are not where they say they should be. There is one sticker on the fire wall between the fuel tank and rear of engine that says it was made in England. The fuel tank is exposed not under sheet metal. The air cleaner is in the battery area in front of the fuel tank, and air intake on the engine is one large box not a manifold. Has only one gauge (Temp). Has a rounded front end with a oval placard over the radiator grill. Fuel pump bolts to injector pump housing. Oil pan is part of the superstructure of the tractor and looks like front of tractor will have to come off to pull oil pan. It runs but throwing heavy oil out the exhaust. Tractor had not been started in several years. Sure would be nice to have all the info I need to buy a engine rebuild kit. Don't know what else to say. Hoping some one can help.
