New to me 87, 3910 II. I have what appears to be a bad seal on the right side arm on steering box. Looks to be weeping oil around felt and making an annoying mess below. Tried searching archives to no avail. How do I resolve this problem and is it a major task to replace/repair if I even can?
Thanks in advance, Greg

See attached link....Potentially the hardest part will be getting the #52 steering arm off. A two-jaw puller would work well for that. Once the arm is off, you replace the seal #43. The #51 felt is just there to keep dirt out of the seal - it is not designed to hold oil in the box.

You don't touch those parts. You pull off arm #52 and then dig the old seal out. Once that's out, you drive the new seal in. The shaft stays in place the whole time.
