Maybe someone is looking for parts or a project.
I think this transmission would be a direct swap for your 55-64 4 speed.
Give you live power...
Not mine. Don't know the seller.
860?

HHHMMM..ad says 'good tin' -gotta question that as it all has extensive surface rust. Looks like it has been setting outside for some time. Might be an okay project for someone if engine isn't froze/cracked up. If I ever buy another Ford to restore, it will be an 860. For a worker, a 3000 or 4000 would be 1st choice. I have my early 9N project as Job #1 now in prep for the 80th Anniversary on June 29, 2019. I just have to get a repop aluminum grille an d new rear 9.5 x 32 tires, then start on the mechanics. My repair and parts business was suppose to supplement my project but family comes first -kids college, bills, food, gas, et al. Ironic how now that I'm retired I have plenty of time and little $$$ and when I was working had the $$$ but no time.

I'd like to have it for the 5 spd trans, but don't really want to change the originality of my 881D, my brother has a couple 671D's with bad inputs, converting one of those would be ok.
Got a couple nephews working in the oil fields, I'd have to see if one of them would take a trailer with them and bring it back when they come home, otherwise it's to far away for me.

That's a shame if parked and not used until the engine seized only from sitting. Clutch pedal sure seems to have no wear & those fenders do not have one dent. Both brake pedals are even, rest of the tin is straight. Even if the motor could not be repaired/rebuilt, I'd find another before parting this one out at that price, if he would accept 1k, I'd consider it even without power steering. I saw a nice clean/straight 860 locally, original paint, not as much rust, they are getting hard to find like this. Lot of if's with a 5 speed, slipping out of gear, 2 stage clutch, but sure looks like a nice one to fix up.
