5000 7000

What is the difference between a 5000 and a 7000. Both are on a local auction tomorrow, they look the same. Just wondering.

7000 has a turbo.

5000 has around 67 pto hp and most likely has 18.4-30 rear tires
7000 has a turbo and is 83 pto hp and should have 18.4-34 rear tires.
Other differences are 7000 has paper air filter instead of oil bath, alternator instead of generator, stronger clutch, helical gears in the transmission and many also had dual power, external hyd filter although I believe later 5000's also had that.

I'd like to have one, where's the sell at.

5000 comes in different versions. early was only around 58 HP. Both 5000 and 7000 come either utility with mechanical steering and row crop with hydraulic steering and operator flat deck platform.
