on my Ford 3000, I'm trying to figure out what the part/line is called? I can only find a find it in one photo on tractor data. The stainless one from the top of the head that runs between the water pump and the generator? it'll be shown in the first picture on this link.

It's not stainless, it's the aluminum coated fuel line that goes down to the fuel pump behind the generator.
Pretty sure it's the line that goes from the fuel tank to the fuel pump, there should be another line that goes from the fuel pump around the front of the engine and back to the carburetor.

Thank you gentlemen. I'm disable and physically can't go look at it. So I was going by what a friend was telling me over the phone and it had me baffled. he kept saying he thinks it's an old line and the shop manual wasn't showing any external oil lines in that location. I never thought about a fuel line because I was thinking it was gravity fed straight from the tank and if it is then a previous owner has monkeyed around with it.

Ok so it goes front the pump to the carb and the one that goes around the front of the engine goes from the tank to the pump.
I got them backwards, all mine are diesel, been a while since I had a gas model.
