Need stock power steering cyl 3000/3600

My 3600 has had one of the power steering cylinders replaced with a larger one off ??. I would like to replace it with a stock 1/2inch rod cylinder to match the other side. Any chance anyone has one laying around they would be willing to sell me?

I have a seal kit and can rebuild if it's leaking, bought two and only used one on the existing 1/2 inch cylinder. The larger cylinder is toast, not only is it the wrong one the rod is scored.

Thanks

The parts list for a model 3600 calls for a 5/8" rod cylinder. I think they may have had some bending trouble with the 1/2' rod. Your 5/8 is probably stock for a 3600.

Wasn't aware they were different from the 3000, thanks.

Problem is if I go with the larger cylinder I will need to buy two. The 1/2 inch on the right side is in really good condition with new seals. The ones on my 3000 have held up just fine even with the loader on it.

Well durn it, was sure hoping someone would have a cylinder laying around. Nothing on eBay except after market with questionable reviews. Wished we had a local tractor salvage yard but no such luck.

IIrc... The 3000 used the 1/2 inch and the 3400 industrial model used the 5/8 inch heavier cyls..

lots of cyls will wear down the chrome on the shaft in the "normal" or centered area of the shaft as thats where the most use is at. Then a reseal kit doesnt work well or long.

To wrap this up, ended up buying one of the aftermarket 1/2 inch rod cylinders everyone is selling. In the end it worked out great, even corrected some issues I was having with the steering I am sure was related to having two different size cylinders.

Really do not expect to have any issues, the 1/2 inch cylinders on my 3000 have worked well for over 50 years.

With a loader, its real easy to turn all the way to the lock and hold it there. That can damage, or bend rods... I have a lot of experience at that...
