Anybody know where to check the oil level on my Superior loader?
I see fill plugs on it in several spots but not sure how much oil to put in if it needs any at all.

Also the 3 -point doesn't lift high unless I push down on the draft lever. Then it raises up quite a bit higher. Not sure of it's operation...seems weird to push on the draft to raise the arms.

I figure a really worn cam follower pin would cause my erractic 3 point operation. Anybody ever weld up that worn area then dress it down so the pin is round again?

I have just pressed the pin out and put in a new one.
If you're really cheap, you could rotate it 180 degrees in the hole
and let it wear on the back side for the next however many years.
I've taken two apart where someone had done exactly that.
Seems kind of silly to me once the cover's off, but there they were.
At least your cam doesn't look to be in bad shape.

Yep Royse... it needs to be replaced. I'm having trouble finding the pin on the YT website. Its a 5/16 x 7/8" pin. I can probably buy one at the local hardware store.

While i'll got that lift cover off waiting for gaskets and o-ringsi decided to flush out the open section there that's exposed. The oil looked good in there but there is sludge on the bottom. Anyway washing it out with diesel. Should be good to go for another 50 years
