5610 Ford hydraulics

New to the board. I have a 1992 5610 series II which had a 2426 bush hog brand loader on it until last night. The hydraulics that supplied
power to the loader were plumbed to a block in front of and below the seat next to the gear shifters. I backed off the nuts that held the hoses on to the fittings which are threaded into the block and removed the loader. Now I have to fittings that need to be done something with. My
question is as floows : Do i take the block out and set the plat back down on the tractor and put shorter bolts back in place or do i just
simply cap the fittings and forget about it? I will attach a picture but please bare with me if it doesn't come up I will try again. Please
excuse my ignorance when it comes to hydraulics. I am a cow man but missed the hydraulics 101 when i was growing up on the farm.

You can loop a hyd hose from one fitting to the other and leave the block in place should you ever decide to put a loader back on.
Or you can remove the plate and mount the valve back down with shorter bolts, the pipes connected to the valve will probably need to be repositioned.

You can not just plug the fittings on the block, that will block the hyd flow to the lift and remotes.

I would remove the block entirely.... Just loosen the line at the rear remote and the load sense line at the side, install new o-rings and shorter bolts and bolt it down in place.
As mentioned, the other option is to install a loop line in place of the loader valve. You can't cap it off. I'd remove the block tho... make for a cleaner, tidier setup with less friction loss.

Good answers from Rod and Destroked. Before you do anything though, clean that mess up before you take anything apart. If there's anything that series 10 hydraulics won't stand, it's dirt flowing through various orifices. Don't ask me how I know that!
