Ford 600 hydraulics

I have a Ford 600, and the three point arms do not raise. I have checked the pump, looks good. Checking under the plate on the hydraulic cover, there is a valve running
horizontally, seems frozen. I get no oil out of the auxiliary plug. Any help would be appreciated.

robably not small valve under accessory plate. Most likely is the often troublesome unloader valve found inside ram cylinder casting along side of the ram. Moved only by low hydraulic pressure & has no mechanical linkage connection. They stick. And nothing comes out of auxiliary plug unless ram is pressurized, in which case you would have lift.

Ok, thanks. I had the ram cylinder out and the control valve was stuck, but did not go into the unloader valve. Just now saw and old post with that location. So, does that valve
under the top plate do anything? When I took off the plate, there was a piece of a really fine spring come out of one of the holes.

here are actually two small valves there, back to back. One is the check valve feeding the ram cylinder and the other is the back pressure valve. If back pressure spring is damaged, it would likely reduce back pressure, which is the low pressure that moves the unloader valve . Could easily be your reason for no unloader movement and no lift.

How do you get either of those valves out? I got out the first section, with a steel ball behind it, but there are at least 3 more pieces in there that are stuck.

The body portion that is the center has threads in it, so after you have the check ball & spring out, you can screw a long bolt/all-thread into it and hopefully pull it out without breaking it. Don't get too rough, because if it breaks, it is all up hill after that.

I got it out, but ended up breaking the longer piece with the hole in the middle. Do you have a source for these parts? I looked on this sites parts section and its not there.
Thanks for all your help.

ight try Wenger's of Meyerstown and other used parts places. Start a new thread on here asking about that particular part & hope someone has it or can tell you where to get it.

ble to get part behind it and broken? Spring out? How?

I screwed a 7/16 fine thread bolt into the hole, but did not have enough threads for a nut to act as a puller. In the process of prying and pounding against the head of the bolt,
the valve broke, but was out far enough that I could get a nut down in a hole behind the end of the broken piece, and then used a smaller diameter bolt to go through the hole in
the valve. Did the same thing of making a puller, but with a nut to pull it out this time. Anyway, its out, but need to get a new one. I found one at a New holland parts
warehouse for $109, seems kind of steep...
Again, thanks for all your help!
