So i finally have it figured out, thx for the pic Fordfarmer,i have lowered the wings on my Ford 224 18 ft wing disc. Once lowered i put a tap measure on it and the disc really is 20 ft in width. Seems wide, will my 7710 have the power to pull this disc?

Depends on soil types, hills, duals or MFWD, if you own the disc, one way to find out- try it! My two wheel without duals and a deere 13' only knows there's a disc back there on the hills in 6th gear high speed. (Or in the wet spots :)

thx for the comment Steve, I have not got around to trying it because it has at least 2 bearings on the gangs that have failed.Thats the way i purchased it.

So give it a try and you'll know if you can pull it, then fix the bearings. Apparently the disk had been used with bad bearings already, another half acre won't do much more damage.

Like the others say.... depends...
My 224 is a 15' cut. Good match for my 7000 or 7600,in our soil. I typically run 5th and Dual Power, slower when it's rough. You have a few more cubic inches.

It should.... depending on how deep you want to run it, how much rubber and ballast are on it... and how much you twist the big screw. I would have no concerns with my 7710 on it...
