the 780 backhoe is on my ford 2000, works good. but hydraulic cylinders are leaking. I have parts #'s for them and parts book. I emaild arps/chromally they said they don't service arps backhoes anymore. and not one word more lol. I love this tractor, should have got this long time ago.can they be rebuilt if outa date? any help would be great thank you

I could not find rebuild parts for the cylinders for an old Case 480CK that I had. I took off the cylinders and took them to a local hydraulic shop and they had, or could make, the parts for just about anything. I think it cost around $150 to rebuild one of them, and around $250 for the other because they had to create a new rod for that one since it was pitted. Good quality work.

If you want to DIY you can go to Baum Hydraulics and download their entire catalog. Then learn how to identify and accurately measure O-rings, backup seals, gland seals, piston seals, and rod wipers. Match everything up then order online. I just did a big cylinder from a Ford 713 backhoe that's probably a lot older than your ARPS. Warning it's a lot of work, especially if you are learning as you proceed.
