ford 601 and 801 different P brake sector plates

I have a 601 parts tractor that I am using to
restore my 801. I have removed the parking
brake sectors (#10) and find that the larger differential
case on the 801 has a slightly large hole spacing
than the 601.

I can get them to fit if I make the lower hole an
open slot but am I changing the position
of the locking pawl so it won't work?
 
Found an original 801 sector plate. The 801 plate is a lot smaller
than the rest of the models because of the LARGER differential.
You cannot modify a 600 sector [plate to fit.

I will have to manufacture a new 1/4 inch plate.
At least I have one to copy.
