Ive replaced a cab fan unit in my 7700 years ago. Was spendy back then for the whole unit....
The tw20 cab fan is howling terrible, bad bearing I would guess or whatever, its dying. Dealer happens to have a cab fan motor is stock, so I'm picking that up in the morning. (Wife does tillage for me, it is in the 30s here, I need to keep her comfortable or my cold blooded low cost work force will go on strike.....)
I recall hearing getting those squirrel cage fans off, and back on, is a real bear.
Any trick to it, I assume they are just press off, press on, and fragile in the process? Never looked real close, but trying to go with what the dealer has on the shelf and get er done...... any hints would be cool. Or, warm?
