SOS Flywheel - is it scrap?

This came out of a 3 cylinder 4000 SOS.
Teeth in the torque limiting clutch are badly worn of course.
Flywheel, ring gear, disk, etc. all look decent though.

I doubt any of those parts have much
value. They only fit an sos and if the tlc
is badly worn it makes little sense to put
it in.
The one thing you might keep is the ring
gear. I haven't looked for a while now but
don't think they are available
aftermarket. Dealer gets most of $200 for
one. I have a couple/three of them here
and have never had a call for one. But
they are easy to hang on a nail in the
shed so don't take up much room

The splines in the TLC are nearly knife edged. Not quite.
I figured it has seen better days.
Ring gear looks good, but I'd probably break it getting it off.

I'm not going to use the SOS Dean, I'm just wondering if I should
trash all of these parts or hang on to any of them for something.
I don't really need them, but I don't want to trash them if someone
else might have a use for them.

Depends on if it's a gas or diesel. Diesel ring gears are available aftermarket, and reasonably priced. Ones for the gassers are only available from NH, and like you said, were around $200 last I checked, too. I also have one hanging on the wall in the garage.

You could advertise it on pull-off.com. They are used when building a double disc clutch for a Ford puller

Yes. I knew that engine Royse just bought was a gasser but I didnt say that in my post. The diesel ring gears are readily available for like $35 or so.
