loader hydraulics help on 1969 Ford 3000

Cannot figure out how to handle the "pressure" and "return" hoses when detaching my 776B Qwik-Tach loader. The pump mounts off the crankshaft pulley at the front. I am worried about what to do with the l-o-n-g hoses that will remain on the hydraulic pump. Can they be plumbed into the tractor"s hydraulic system somehow? I"m not great at figuring out hydraulics; actually am afraid of them because of the pressure involved.

if it's not going to be off long term, you could plumb the suction/pressure to/from your tractor resevoir, and just let it run open circuit, moving fluid, but building no pressure.

Should be two bolts and pull it off the front, leave the hoses on the frame but cap em.

Thanks Soundguy. We like your idea. We were considering taking the pump off til we remembered the fun we had taking it off of the Industrial 2000 and then re-installing it on our 3000. A pipe nipple or two and quick couples should handle the problem. Never having messed with hydraulics before we had our second thoughts about what to do.

Thanks Gears. It's a great idea, however; We removed the loader from a Ford 2000 Industrial which we purchased just for the loader. The loader was in working condition but the 2000 was not. It was very difficult to install the pump on our 3000 as we had to swap the front cowlings etc., in order to keep from having to remodel the cowling on our 3000. There are two frames to deal with in removing the pump, the tractor frame and the loader frame. It's a bit involved and we just don't want to do it all over again.

Not that sharp on hydraulics. Don't understand "u seat." I plan on plumbing it in with a "new" top plate that we will be installing under the seat (sort of) with 90's etc.
