Just wondering if I could get some help with fixing the fuel shut off and replacing the gas line on the 860 that I recently picked up.
#1. The current line looks to be the original style, with part of it rubber, and it drops down behind the manifold to the sediment bowl. I think it needs replacing, and I've seen a lot of threads in the past about the topic, but a lot of the pictures have since been removed.
Specifically, I was planning to reroute the line and wondered if anyone could help me with the best route, and also what length and what diameter line would I need to get?
Also, does it need to have the rubber anti-vibration part in it? My 8n and NAA gas lines are all metal, and they seem to do just fine.
#2. The fuel shut-off leaks whenever it is turned on. I'd rather repair the original, if possible. I've read on here about drilling the valve and then replacing the o-ring. Can someone tell me what size o-ring to use?
Thanks!
Jeff
