OK so Iam at my wits end with this ford jubilee and its hyd. woes -- It goes up 2 inchs and drops 2 inchs -- if I stand on the three point it
will cycle every 3 to 4 seconds -- I put in a new cylinder with new leather and O-ring -- I looked in the fill hole and it is holding
perfectly-- then I replaced the o-ring on the unloading valve -- and I replaced the pressure valve and the ball below it -- none of this has
changed anything -- still has the hiccups -- now what do I do? signed frustrated in North west Iowa -- Roy

Remove the hyd filler plug and see if he piston o'ring is being exposed out the end of the cylinder when the three point is at the top. If so, remove the yoke, big spring and the three bolts and plate at the back of the lift chest. Make a washer that will fit over the shaft and grind a slot to fit around the guide pin. Install the washer and then the rest of the parts. A control valve adjustment might be necessary

I looked -- its OK -- the piston is only part way out when up all the way -- the cyl. does not leak --- Roy

Someone on here posted that an NAA or Jubilee ( cant remember) was bad about blowing piston to case gasket. That might be why they went to orings.
