About pivot pin for ford 3000

Hey , I'm not having luck with getting the correct pivot pin for my 1966 ford 3000
tractor, I removed the solid pin to replace with a hollow to run my 730 loader, the
first pin I received was incorrect completely by the vender , the 2nd one which
replaces part number c5nn3127b is too short the original one is about 8 inches the
one they sent that's hollow is about 5 inches , does anyone have information that can
help me with this problem please!!, thanks

The early 3000s and the 2000s till 1970? or so used a light weight bolster.
After that they went to a much heavier one.
It's been a while since I messed with them but that may be what he has.
I would be a bit hesitant to put a 730 on a light weight bolster. My thinking is they won't take the load. The heavy bolster in the photo I sold to a guy in NY or PA somewhere. He bought a municipal tractor with a broken front end. It had a light bolster and 730 on it. The two bilsters will pretty much interchange.
I switched the bolster on my 3000 from heavy to light as I learned I could use a cast iron pan with the light one. And never plan to put a loader on it.

That prob had a different diameter for the axle too I'd imagine? I'm not looking to lift extremely heavy, mostly snow and around the yard , I tried looking online for a heavy used one but didn't have much luck

Although it looks like the light bolster in Ultradog's pic it is extended more in the center which would require a longer pin.

After a bit of searching it appears your 3000 is a vineyard model called a 3300.
They used a different front axle assembly not used on any other model that I could find, they continued to use this axle on vineyard models up to and including the 3910 series where I found the pins size to be 1 3/4" x 7 1/4", the pins part # is E4NN3127AA, but was only available as a solid pin with a grease fitting hole to lube the center pivot.
If you want the use a front mounted pump for your loader with that axle you'll need to have a custom pin made.

Are you sure your loader is going to fit on your narrowed rear axle housings without modification. I do remember seeing a vineyard with a loader for sale in wine country not that long ago. Perhaps they bored their pivot pin when they installed the loader.

Or just used the tractor hydraulics with an adaptor plate. My 3000 is set up this way. It's a little slow but works fine for what I have needed.

I do have to modify the rear legs for
the loader,I had to modify my cab also,I
got the loader for a great price and the
tractor runs great and is in good shape
so didn't want to have to search for
another one,a little fabrication

Thank you for all the info,I deff want
to make this work,I picked up the loader
with rebuilt pump for 850,it's
practically new still very little
use,and the tractor is in great shape
and I do like the rear being narrow for
around my house so I didn't want to sell
what I have to find a regular one,I'll
have to make something work
