I am renewing the steering on my 641 Workmaster and need some advice.
I want to replace the bushings on the pitman gear shafts, does anyone have any good advice on how to remove the old bushings?
What special tool is required to pull the bearing race (cup) that is in the bottom of the steering box?

Take a fine hacksaw blade and carefully cut
through the sector bushings lengthwise. Then
take a square ended punch and tap them
inward.
For the race in the bottom, unless it is
pitted real bad or otherwise damaged I would
leave it and reuse.
If you must replace it take a welder and
welding rod, reach in and weld a short bead
on the inside of the race. This will shrink
the race and it will fall out if you bounce
the box upside down on a board.
