Bleeding Vickers Hydro pump ?

Is this a front pump for a loader? If so, you generally do not have to bleed them as the fluid level in the reservoir should be above the pump and gravity should prime it, and then simply working all of the cylinders from fully retracted to fully extended a few times should work all of the air out of the system. Check to make sure that the fluid is at the proper level and then work the cylinders full cycle a few times. If you still have problems after that the pump is either sucking air somewhere along the suction line or it needs to be rebuilt.

I'm asking about the pump for the triple in the rear. I can't see any port on the top . Maybe it is a self priming pump. And just pugged in the sump.

ompressed air applied to hyd dipstick hole

I didn't know that the pump for the 3 point was made by Vickers. I have only heard folks reply to Vickers pumps when they had the front mounted pumps powering a loader.

hat is what the FO-20 says.

Sounds like the tubes between the hydro sump and the pump are leaking where they pass through the transmission.
