Did a little adjustments and put it back together ......it works!! Sorta. Will not raise at idle. Rev up tractor lift works fine. Hooked up bush hog and cut a bit. Never wobbled or dropped. Any ideas? Thanks

Mine wont raise at idle. Rev it a little and it works fine. I think it might be from non-use. Will probably loosen up with continued use.

Tractor sat in previous owner's driveway for over a year, never used. He said he didn't know much history on it. It has an few year old paint job and had a few new parts. Now it has new axle bearings and seals. PTO seal and bearing. Brakes. Tune up. Fluid change. Transmission whining a bit ,and sometimes have to double clutch it to get in gear but all in all a nice tractor .

"..the lift was working fine,but.." yes, when it is 'working fine', do not mess with it!!

I know. I know. But the touch
control was so hard to move....and
I'm sorta gung ho sometimes.should
have waited for advice from here.
Because after we took cover plate
off we found out that was
unnecessary. Ugggg. I'm learning
patience ....... slowly. Next time
I will post issue here and wait
for advice. Thanks to everyone
who helps us out!

Is your tractor gas or diesel? Ive never heard a tranny whine, a rattling sound, but no whine. 4 or 5 speed?

if it won't lift at idle, it may be that leaks in the system are overcomming the flow produced at idle.

Will old O rings cause that? None in the gasket set fit ,so we used old ones . The 2 between tractor and lift cover.

If you re-used old hard orings, I hate to say it.. but you deserve what you got.

I've never seen a kit that had orings that didn't fit.

None fit good. Either way small for where they sit,and too short and are not even with gasket. Next size up ( in kit) had to be stuffed in, making em wrinkle. Gasket was perfect fit. Wood dowels made good line up tool!
