Hi I'm new here looking for any info on a county super 6 model 954 tractor. My dad has one in western Canada he's had since around 1980.
Any idea on how many were sold in Canada or what it's worth? It is running everything works.

Hi Lukin,
I own one as well. They are amazing tractors for their pulling and floating ability, but kinda suck when it comes to finding parts. Not sure numbers sold or value.

Hi I got 2 954's here in Manitoba, the 954 was a 2 year model that didn't last very long as it had design flaws that were modified with the 1004 and 1124 models. lots of them have been scrapped over the years or exported to African type country's from the U.K where they built them and sold lots of them. Lots of the original records have been lost so it's a job to find out some info on production and shipping numbers, I tried for my first one. There is an online club for them in the U.K.

I paid $5000 for my first one that ran back in about 2004 and put new tires on and got some other parts that were broken or missing on top so have about 7500 in it now, and it still needs money. The second one I've had for just over a year and paid $3000, the motors bad but I found parts for it over near the Alberta border I have to go get. The sad thing is the wrecker over in Sask that had parts is now sadly gone and everything got scrapped.

There was a 954 for sale near here a while ago the guy wanted $11000 for but don't think he got it. There is a 1004 for sale to thats not a great looker and about $4500 but runs and drives good if it sells I will find out I personally know the guy. The other one I know somebody that knows him to I might be able to find out what that made . They were shipping them back to the U.K but that market seems to of dried up i was talking to my wrecker buddy on Friday about those guys and he don't see them now .

I will say you would get some clowns want to give you $1500 or less for it tell them to go away. it is probably worth $2500- $4000 plus depending how nice and who wants it with current markets. The key is they are real expensive to work on and restore. 4 big tires are expensive, plus other components that are unique to the county conversion like engine stuff. Some of the body panels and the 4wd parts are hard to find here and not cheap to buy or ship from the U.k either. Not much of it is standard Ford 5000 after the gearbox / rear diff housing, hydraulic linkage and a few other parts.

I hope that helps some, I can't give an accurate price only a guess from what I paid, or is for sale and what it sells for or find out what that other one made in the end, and if it stayed in Canada or got exported. Regards Robert
